This Medical Education Grand Rounds presentation will explore the integration of patient conferences into foundational science education, highlighting their potential impact on medical student empathy, knowledge retention, and learning experiences. The session will review student feedback and discuss how incorporating patient perspectives into medical education can enhance understanding of clinical concepts, promote patient-centered care, and support professional development.

1. Describe the role of patient conferences in foundational science education and their impact on medical student learning.
2. Discuss how patient experiences and narratives can enhance empathy, knowledge retention, and understanding of clinical concepts.
