The Northwest Ohio Pediatric Symposium is a multidisciplinary educational activity designed to highlight current and emerging clinical guidance that impacts the care of infants, children, and adolescents. This symposium provides a forum for physicians, trainees, students, and healthcare professionals to present and discuss new clinical guidelines, practicing in a changing environment, original research, and quality improvement initiatives in pediatric medicine.

1. Describe current and emerging pediatric clinical guidance and their relevance to clinical practice in the pediatric primary care setting.
2. Apply evidence-based clinical practice guidelines to clinical decision-making in order to improve the quality, safety, and outcomes of care for pediatric patients.

The University of Toledo designates this activity for a maximum of 6.00 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s)^TM .  Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations received in writing no less than 20 days before the course will be refunded, less a 20% administrative fee. No refunds will be made on cancellations received after that date. Please send cancellation requests to University of [email protected].

University of Toledo Healthcare System reserves the right to cancel or postpone this program if necessary; in the event of cancellation, course fees will be fully refunded. We are not responsible for other costs incurred such as non-refundable airline tickets or hotel penalties.
